Acura/RDX

is a five-passenger luxury compact crossover SUV. More than 370,000 have been sold in the United States since its introduction in 2007. The MSRP for the 2019 RDX starts at $38,000. Originally built on the civic and CR-V platform, RDX has now has its own platform.

RDX (2007-2012) has Honda Type 7 or Type 8 Keyed Ignition Systems. Utilizes Philips 46 (V) chip high security sidewinder transponder ignition and door key. The Ilco part number is HO03-PT. Also utilizes flip 3-button key fob (Part# 35111-STX-325; FCC ID: N5F 0602A1A) with a high security laser emergency key. The Service Key part number is HO01SVC.  Additional keys can be programmed for RDX with a diagnostic or cloning tool.

 RDX (2013-2015) utilizes a smart prox key fob (Part# 72147-TX4-A41 or 72147-TX4-A51) with a high security laser emergency key.

RDX (2016-2018) utilizes a smart prox key fob (Part # 72147-TZ5-A01 or 72147-TZ5-A11) with a high security laser emergency key. Key fobs can be programmed with a diagnostic tool. A special laser key machine is needed to duplicate the concealed emergency key. The key code series is K001-N718.
